Birth is a powerful marker of irreversible change, yet so often, birthing people are given little space to process this transformation.
Once the baby arrives, attention often shifts away from the mother, and it can feel as though the world does not want to hear our birth stories—or worse, that we should feel ashamed of them. In these conditions, it can be impossible to fully process how birth has changed…
