The MotherFolk Writing Circle
Rewriting the story of motherhood
The MotherFolk Writing Circle is a weekly mother and baby group centred around those who mother, using writing practice to support the transition into motherhood and build community.
This isn’t a writing class, but a place to use writing as a tool for processing our experiences, navigating our positioning in the world, and rewriting the story of motherhood for ourselves.
We explore and celebrate our unique voices and stories, and find ways in which the rhythms of writing practice and everyday life can be intertwined.
Importantly, we meet in beautiful settings, where mothering folk can spend an hour a week releasing, reconnecting, and recharging.
No writing experience is necessary - just bring a notebook and pen!
This group is open to anyone who self-identities with mothering or motherhood, whatever way that looks; regardless of gender, or whether you have been a birthing person or not, you are welcome in this space.
A note on pricing: I wholeheartedly believe in the value the writing circle can bring to your life. But I would love for it to be accessible for as many people as possible. I am always open to discussing payment plans or adjusted pricing if you need it. Get in touch and we can work something out, no questions asked.
